Yesterday we went to Bass Pro Shop at Discover Mills to see Santa Claus! We got to the mall at 12:45 and I sent Steven in to grab a pass (Santa pictures at Discover Mills are free, but you have to get a ticket with your time on it), he came out with a pass for 5:30pm!!! At first we were just going to run inside and eat a quick lunch, then go on home and try again another day. But after eating lunch, we walked around for a while, let Parker ride the carousel, played in the Disney store, played on the ATV's and boats in Bass Pro, and before we knew it was 5:00 and we were able to get in line. I really expected a complete meltdown when I handed Parker over to Santa Claus, but we had been hyping him up for weeks, and when he finally saw Santa, all he kept saying was "I WANT SANNA CWASS". He sat in his lap, but did not turn to look at him, which was fine because he was such a big boy and was so happy he got to sit with Santa! Steven and I made fun of ourselves on the way home because we acted so ridiculous when he didn't cry, we were squealing and clapping and were ecstatic (oh what having children turns us into).

Parker got these cute Woody and Buzz toys from the Disney store and toted them all around the mall, he had one in each hand the whole day. It was so cute! This snowman really got his attention, enough to climb up in the chair to try to get to his nose.
My big boy and Santa!!! Santa had just asked him what he wanted from him for Christmas, and he was in the middle of saying "CHOO CHOOS"!
