YMCA Egg Hunt
What a "ripoff". I went and picked up Mya and Jessie so that they could go see the Easter Bunny and do the community egg hunt with Parker and Myself. The egg hunt was supposed to start at 2, so we got there at 1:45. We barely made it up to see the Easter Bunny, because he was already leaving, and we walked right in line for the egg hunt. The kids did enjoy themselves very much, and got a million of those NASTY candy eggs, that of course Parker wanted to have a million of as soon as the hunt was over. They stained his hands, face, clothes, carseat...ugh. Needless to say, the WHOLE bucket when into the trash during naptime :). But a good time was had by the kids, so that's all that matters...right?

...Somebody's Sleeping in MY bed!
Yes, that would be Parker. I think he has been having some bad dreams lately, and after a relatively long crying spell last night, I scooped him up and took him to my bed. (To tell the truth it was nice to have someone to cuddle with during the night.) He slept like a rock, twisting and turning all over the place. Momma, on the other hand...not so much. Every time the kid moved, he woke me up. I guess I'm a light sleeper these days.

I just want to eat him up!

Just waking up, and saw Dixie at the end of the bed sleeping...he dove straight for her, go figure.

Dinner at Gaga's
Since Steven is now gone for weeks on end, traveling the US, Mom and Randy have invited Parker and I to come for dinner every Wednesday night at their house. I LOVE it! Its nice one night to not have to worry about cooking or cleaning. We go straight there after I pick Parker up from Jessie's and spend a few hours, then go home in time to do our "night time" routine.

Cute Firefighter's aren't they?

Mya's Final Birthday Hoorah
After celebration after celebration, Mya's actual birthday came. She officially turned 4. We picked up some McDonalds, brought a cake and went to the park to celebrate the special occasion with just our family.

Daddy's Big Truck
Steven's first "home time" absolutely flew by, even though he was home for an entire week. It seemed like as soon as I got him unpacked, we were getting him packed back up again. This time he was out on his own...no trainer...in his own truck. So the day he left, Parker and I drove to Lithonia, to an actual shipper where he was waiting to get loaded up, so we could see his truck before he left. We only stayed five minutes (drove over an hour each way) but it was well worth it to get to see where Steven would be living for the next 6 months to a year of his life.
I can tell you, the inside of the truck looked nothing like what I thought it would. It was very spacious, and extremely nice...and that bed was super comfortable! Not that I would ever want to spend day in and day out in any type of vehicle for weeks on end, but its not a bad way to do it if necessary.
My two special guys.

Showing me all his compartments for storage.

Parker was LOVING this.

Those are my boys! Still unreal to think of Steven driving that huge thing around!

Mya's Birthday Party
Mya's Fourth Birthday Party was at Chuck E Cheese this year. She talked about it for MONTHS, saying that all she wanted to do was go see chuckecheese for her birthday. Luckily for us, Steven ended up not having to leave until the day after her party, so he got to be there with all of us to celebrate the special occasion.

Playing games.

Pizza time! Let me say that my son put away 3 pieces of pizza, oh yes, before he had a cupcake to top it off.

Mya and Olivia.

Mya was pretending to sleep, so I decided to pretend to sleep too. I can't believe this child is four years old!

The birthday girl, Gaga and Randy

Singing Happy Birthday to ALL of the kids who had a birthday party at 12:30 (a total of 7 i think). This is right before Chuck E Cheese came of of the closet right behind the guy singing and scared Mya so bad she nearly fell out of her chair. Anytime I ask Parker about a birthday party, he says "ChuCheese, scare Mya, she cries". Pretty funny, but very sad too. The only way I could get her to sit through blowing out her candles was to promise her that if Chuck E Cheese came to close, I would beat him up.

I had to take over because she wouldn't listen to John or Jessie.
