New Paint

Yesterday Steven and I spent 7 (yes 7, when I thought it MIGHT take 4 lol) hours painting our living room. I've been wanting to do it since we moved in, but I finally got it done and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

Chocolate Milk

We had McDonald's on Saturday night for dinner, and of course since Steven was ordering, he ordered Parker chocolate milk instead of regular milk. And he absolutely LOVED it lol, he sucked the whole thing down! Now, he loves reg milk too which is what he will be getting most of the time, but Steven said he needed a little "treat". lol

Sage

On Saturday, Jessie and John suprised Mya with a new puppy, just for her!!!

This is when John first gave Mya her "suprise".

Obsession!

I've heard of kids trying to eat dog food before, and always thought, eww how gross, why in the world would they do that? Well, Parker is OBSESSED with dog food and water!! He will take off across the kitchen like a little maniac and grab two handfulls of dog food, stuff one in his mouth, hold onto the other with a death grip, then start playing in Dixie's water bowl. I have to DIG the pieces of dog food out of his mouth probably at least once every few days! I don't know the solution to his aquired taste for dog food, but we are getting him a water table for his birthday, so hopefully that will satisfy his need to play in the water bowl.

Parker's Favorite Things

Here is a picture of my sons two favorite things...his two nasal aspirators lol. As you can see he has a whole room full of toys, and what does he do? He goes into his bedroom, grabs both of these out of the medicine basket on his changing table, and takes them into his playroom. I snapped this pic after 20 minutes of him rolling around on the floor playing with them!

Helpin Mama with Laundry

Friday night I was folding some laundry in the living room, when my lil sneaker came and stole my laundry basket. After a minute of so of complete silence (the bad baby alarm lol) I went to see what it was Parker was doing. I wish I could have gotten a picture of what the kid looked like when I walked around the corner! He was hanging half inside and half outside the laundry basket, teetering trying to climb in. When he saw me, he slid the rest of the way in and started hysterically laughing at himself. For the next 30 mins, he just pushed the basket around the kitchen, would spin it in circles then push it in the opposite direction :) Who needs toys!

SKETTI MAN!

My little sketti man! Parker had sphgetti the other night for the second time, and boy did that kid make a mess! he rubbed it in his hair, in his nose, etc etc! But he sure loved every single bite!

Summerlyn Grace

Sunday afternoon, Steven, Parker and I went to visit some friends of ours that just had a baby on March 16th (her and Mya have the same birthday). She is so adorable and mom and baby seem to be doing really well.


This is Parker's birthday present from Tara, Chris and Summerlyn (Tara said she had to get a school theme since shes a teacher) and I think it's Parker's new favorite toy ever! He pushes it around everywhere he goes, he even tries to crawl up the stairs while holding it!

STOP...ITS SMOOTHIE TIME!

On Sunday morning I made a blender full of fresh fruit (strawberry/banana) smoothie. I thought maybe Parker would like to have some, so I gave him a little in the cup (about half full). The kid did not take the straw out of his mouth until it was gone, then started crying for more! I had to give him a refill!! Needless to say, there will be a whole lote more smoothies in our house from now on!

Sunny Days, Chasing the Clouds (or snow) Away!

Parker, Jessie and Mya are LOVING the nice weather!! Last weekend Steven and I got a new swing for Parker to go over at Aunt Jess' house so he can have fun outside playing too, and he (and Mya lol) love it!! Its a great swing and he will be able to use it for a while. Im going this weekend to get him one for home :)

Afternoon Naps

Just about everyday when I go to pick up Parker from Aunt Jess', this is what I find. Him snoozing away! He is usually sleeping so well, that I hate getting him up to take him home!

Soak up the Sunshine

Parker is really getting to enjoy the outdoors now that hes a little older, the weather is nice and it stays light outside later now. At first he didnt know what to think about the grass (hence the way hes holding his hands!)


Parker and Daddy have been walking up and down the driveway over and over again since its been so nice outside. They both enjoy it and have a great time together.

Mya's Birthday Ball

My neice Mya had her 3rd birthday Princess Ball on Saturday, and it was a big hit :) The kids all seemed to have a pretty good time :) and everything turned out perfectly!

Leave it up to my stepfather to turn a Princess Ball into a Duel to the Death! But it sure loosened the kids up a lot!

Mower Bud's

Steven cut the grass last week for the first time this year, and I was ready to take Parker and run inside if he didnt like the the noise. Well, I should have known (since he CHASES the vacuum cleaner) that he would WANT to get on it. Every time Steven would pass by us, Parker would say UHHH DADA UHHH DADA!! And reach out for him. And when he would pass by he would get so upset, his bottom lip would poke out and hed start to whine. So finally Steven got him and took him for a ride, and Parker wouldnt get off until Steven put the lawnmower away!

New Shoes

Parker finally got some shoes that fit his big fat (very thick) feet!!! We went to Stride Right at the Mall of Ga this past weekend to pick him out some shoes since he will be walking (hopefully) pretty soon, and we wanted him to get used to wearing them. We got there and they fitted his feet to a size 5 wide (no suprise there) and they were havinga BOGO half off sale, so we got him another pair in a 5 1/2 wide :). It took him a few days to get the hang of it, but he loves them now :) and they go on soooo easily!!!

Its Britney......

Jessie and I got to go to the Britney Spears concert! A friend of mine had a baby and didnt want to leave her so soon, so she gave us a really great deal on really great seats!! We rode with our cousin Casey and her husband Dave and we had a really great time! It was nice to have a girls night out without worrying about anything but having a good time! It was honestly the best concert EVER! She put on a fantastic CIRCUS show! Everytime she would do a costume swap, they would have a circus act of some kind (acrobats, martial artists, body builders, clowns etc.).

We had cocktails at Casey's before we headed out to the concert.
