Grant shoot 5/22/09

In case you havent noticed with the gazillion pictures that I post on here, I LOVE photography and am really looking into pursuing my hobby further. Yesterday a friend of mine let me do a shoot of her little girl Lucy. These are a few shots that I got from the shoot.

Kirsten's High School Graduation

On Thursday night, 5/21/09, my sister-in-law graduated from high school. She is 8.5 months pregnant, so she graduated from Faith Academy, and is the very first one in her family since PawPaw (62 years old) graduated. We were all there and so very proud of her!

There were over 300 graduates, and it was only for 2 out of the 4 campus locations.

After the ceremony (we spent about 20 minutes of it out in the lobby because Parker was getting tired of sitting still, and tired in general...he likes to throw himself backwards when hes sleepy)

Big Boy!

My baby boy is sitting at the big kids table now! HA! This is the first time that we took off his tray and pulled him up to the table to eat with us. It was so sad and so awsome at the same time. He absolutely LOVES sitting in between both of us, and we can both interact with him so much better.

Kirsten's Baby Shower

Today we had Kirsten's baby shower at my Mom's house. Kirsten is Steven's little sister and I have known her since she was 6!! She's having a little girl, Skylar Renee Ashe, and is due on July 1st.

Steven brought Parker towards the end of the shower to show him off. You can still see the booboo on his face :(

2nd Haircut...Snip Its

Ok, first off...Parker's infection is MUCH better. The antibiotics did the trick and he did not have to go to Egleston to have it drained. We put hot compresses on it several times a day and it broke open on its own.

Today we took him to get his hair cut again (2nd time) to a place called SNIP ITS in Snellville. Its a kid's hair salon and I thought Parker would love it with all the fun stuff around. WRONG! The only thing he did like was another little boy (prob about 6) stood in front of him and blew bubbles at him, and Parker loved that. It was the only time he was still enough for the lady to cut his hair! He sure did look handsome afterwards!

Sick Baby!

Last night when I got Parker out of his carseat at home, he felt SOOO hot to me. At first I just thought that he must have gotten too hot in the car because I had turned the air down. I ripped his clothes off of him to cool him off, then took his temp and it was 101.5. I layed him the the recliner next to Steven and they watched TV until dinner was ready. He ate dinner just fine and his temp came down to about 99.9, so I figured he must have just been hot. I gave him some tylenol and he seemed fine for the rest of the night.

This morning when I got Parker up his face was bright red and VERY VERY hot to the touch and he had a huge blister on his cheek. I immediately called his dr's office and left a voicemail for his pediatrician. She called back within 5 minutes and said for me to bring him in ASAP. So I took him in and the pedi. said he had an infection on his face. It could have started as a bug bite or a scratch, but it had gotten infected and had gotten a "fever" in it. She gave me a perscription for double antibiotics and said that if it gets any worse or his fever/actions change to take him immediately to Egleston so they can drain it!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!! She also said that it being on his face makes it much worse and much more dangerous :(...

Of course I had a boohoo session in the car on the way home, I have his perscription and already gave him a dose and hes taking a nap, so we will see how he progresses from here. Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer for him please!

Mothers Day 2009

I had a very nice Mother's Day this year. We started off by having a cookout at my Mom's house on Saturday afternoon. Everyone was there and Seth even came and brought Nicholas. Mom set up a pool under the patio, and the kids played in the pool and on their four wheelers. OH and the best part, the YUMMY shishkabobs!

Mya and Nicholas relaxin after swimming and lunch.

Parker chowin down on lunch.

Parkster's on Nicholas' big power wheels four wheeler.

Mya riding around on the four wheeler.

Then on Sunday, we got up and drove to Douglasville outlets so I could get my Mother's Day gift. We ate at Ruby Tuesday's then went to the COACH OUTLET!!!!!

Then we drove to Steven's grandparents to see his MawMaw. To our suprise the whole entire family was there which was so nice since we only usually see them twice a year.
Steven's baby sister Kirsten...shes due with a little girl on July 1st.

Picnic at the Park

We had a picnic at the park the other day, and we had such a good time. We got some McD's and Parker just sat on the picnic table and ate all of his dinner. Then Jess, John, Mya and Sage met us up there and we played then the kids got into the wagon and we went on a nature walk :)
