Cookout/Fishing/Baby to Work/DRS APPT!

COOKOUT

This has been a very busy week for us. On Saturday night we went over to our cousin Casey and Dave's house for a cookout and we had a great time!! Parker is so much bigger now than he was the last time we were over.

Then on Sunday, me/Steven/Parker met Jess/John/Mya up at Fort Yargo park for some fishing. Between Jess, John, Steven and Mya they caught 12 fish! Mya was so proud of herself that she caught the very first one. Parker and I did a little fishing but mostly watched the fun :)


BABY TO WORK

Friday, Monday and Tuesday Parker spent his days up at KidsPeace with me at work...HE HAS BEEN SOOO GOOD! And I have actually gotten work done suprise suprise!!! I really wish I could bring him with me every week :) (The pictures of him without his clothes on is bc he spit up on both sets of clothes I brought him and I only had one more left, so I was waiting to put him in them!)



DRS APPT!

Parker's 2 Month Drs appointment was on Monday, June 23rd. He has doubled his body weight since birth!! He is now 14lbs 12oz and 24 inches long! At birth he was 7lbs 11oz...He is in the 98th Percentile for his weight, 80th percentile for his head circumfrence and the 75th percentile for his length! He got 3 shots, two in one thigh and one in the other and one oral vaccination :( ...and BOY did he scream bloody murder! He wailed and had big tears but as soon as I put him in his carseat and picked it up...he went sound to sleep and slept almost 3 hours! The Dr said that we can put about a teaspoon of cereal per oz in his bottles if his spitting up continues to be as much as it is...but he is gaining weight so well that we know hes getting the proper nutrition. She said he looks amazing, and everything is PERFECT with him! We can start him on watered down juice now, which Im going to try tonight!! and we go back on August 19th...hell be 4 months by then :( OOOH goshhhhhh!

Fathers Day 2008

Yesterday was Steven's very first Father's Day! We had a really great weekend. Saturday night we went over to Mom and Randy's and had Chinese food (soooOOOooo good dahlin!) then everyone had a water balloon fight out in the front yard. Everyone had a good time, Mya enjoyed it but The "Fathers" seemed to have the most fun haha.

Sunday morning we got up (Steven woke up at 7:30 and got Parker ready to go!!) and got ready to go to Golden Corral for breakfast. Steven had been craving bacon for several days, and let me say, he sure did get his money's worth out of that bacon!!!

Then we went to Discover Mills for Steven to be able to go to Bass Pro Shop for him to pick out a Father's Day gift for himself :) We spent about an hour in there while Steven shopped around and then played the shooting game that is there a few times. I got a cute picture of him and Parker in front of the huge Moose :)

Then we walked around Discover Mills for a while and came across where the do Slot Car Racing. Steven got to play slot cars and Parker and I watched (well, I watched, Parker just looked around with his eyes WIDE open at all of the lights haha)

We went home for a while and then after dinner when it cooled off some, we all went fishing. Steven didnt catch anything, but he got to use some of his new toys! It was a great weekend, and I think Steven really enjoyed his first fathers day!

Parker is 2 Months Old TODAY!

Oh my, I cannot believe that my baby boy is already 2 months old! Time seems to be flying by, but also it seems like hes been in my life forever. He smiles, "talks", follows us with his eyes, and will turn his head to see what were doing. This morning I walked over to him while he was just "uhmpin" around and I said "good morning parker" and he opened his eyes and gave me the biggest smile! He is truely amazing and suprises me everyday with what he can do. He is a big boy :) because hims sure does love his bottle! Every 3 hours almost on the dot he starts sniffling then hell stick out his bottom lip and throw his head back and give an adorable dramatic WAHH lol...i cant help but to laugh at him its so dang cute! Well, here are a few pictures of him today, on the two month mark!

Last weekend of maternity leave and back to work

Well this past weekend was the LAST weekend of my maternity leave. So we spent most of the weekend at home, but did go over and visit Grandma and Grandaddy on Sunday afternoon. Here are some pictures at Grandma's and a picture of Parker loving our waterfall in our bedroom, and his famous stretching! Hes done that cute little stretch since he was born!!

BACK TO WORK!

Monday I went back to work full time, needless to say this has been a major adjustment so far! In the mornings what used to take me 20 mins to get out of the house (shower included) now takes me an hour and a HALF! WHAT!!! I get up at 6 and leave at 7:30...these are pictures from Monday morning, he was still sleeping when I got him up...and he was in such a great mood! The other pictures are of him smiling at me and his daddy before we loaded up and went to work...He smiles at us all the time now! And he is 8 weeks old today! I just cant believe that time is going by so fast!
