Father's Day 2010

We were lucky enough this year that Steven was able to work his schedule for him to be home on Father's Day. He worked 6 weeks straight out on the road so that he could be home. Started the day by being lazy in our pj's out on the back porch playing with Steven's fathers day present. He asked for a fishing pole for Parker so that they could spend the afternoon fishing together, what a sweet sweet Daddy.

Steven was teaching him how to cast and reel the line back in. It didn't take him long to catch on.

That afternoon we went to Fort Yargo for a quick fishing excusrion, it was SO hot that we did not get to stay very long.

Trying to find the perfect fishing spot.

His first cast, he did it like a little pro!

Is this not the perfect father son picture?

My handsome man with his fishing pole backpack!

We finished the day off by going to Stone Mountain to the laser show and riding the train around the mountain. We had such a FUN day, but boy we were exhaused when we got home and all slept like rocks.

Parker said "thank you daddy, I love this."

Skylar's 1st Birthday

Skylar is ONE already! Skylar is Steven's little sisters baby girl. It's hard to believe that ALL kids grow up so fast, not just mine. I did her cake, a Nemo theme, which turned about pretty cute I think. THey had a big bouncy house and water toys out since it was one of the hottest dayf of the year thus far I'm pretty sure. They cooked burgers and hotdogs and it was a great deal of fun!

Pool Side June 2010

Steven was home for a few days, so we tried to spend some more time at the pool. We packed up a big cooler and headed to be poolside for the day. Parker really loves jumping off the side in the deepend and laying on his belly in the shallow end crawling around while his body floats, he thinks it's too cute.

Are they not just the two cutest kids ever?

Steven and Jess having a serious in pool talk.

Handsome dudes aren't they?

Mya can swim like a little fish. She jumps off the side and swims to you like a little pro!

Summer Reading Kickoff

Jessie and I took the kids to the Winder Library Summer Reading Kickoff and they got to meet Spongebob Squarepants and have their pictures taken with him!! They also got to color pictures and make Paper Bag Whales.

Assessing the Situation

Parker fell the day before at ChickFilA and slammed his nose into the side of the slide. It wasn't broken thank god, but it sure was swollen and bruised!

Jess is 4 month pregnant with twin boys!

Mya was very angry when it was time to leave.
