Decorating the Christmas Tree

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we were all excited to decorate the Christmas Tree. Parker enjoyed helping us but it together and put the decorations on this year, which was a lot of fun. We listened to Christmas music and just really enjoyed getting to spend quality time together during our new family tradition.



Dixie couldn't care less, she was so exhausted from our trip to the cabin that she slept for days!




In this second picture, Parker is helping me put on the very last Christmas gift my Grandma gave to me, and actually I received it after she passed away...an ornament that is a sack of coal! It is hard to believe that she's been gone for 2 years already, but this is a fun way to remember her every year when we decorate the tree.
