Buddah Belly
Parker's new thing is to put a ball inside his shirt and run up to me and yell, "hey momma, see my buddah belly!" hhhhahaha, it's hysterical!
Baoooooons!!
Apparently my child is a huge huge fan of balloons. I knew he liked them, but wasn't quite sure how obsessed he was with them until we went to a friend of mines little boy's first birthday party. Parker we around the house and gathered all of the balloons (and I mean ALL) and held tightly to them the entire time we were there (over 2 hours). I was sure he was going to just float away at some point.

The End of our Valentines
Valentine's night, Parker and I went to McDonald's for dinner, and just spent some quality time together. Other than us both missing Steven a lot, it was a great day!
Waking him up from his nap with a balloon.

He did this for almost an hour. He'd hit is and run, and hit it and run, etc. etc.

Happy Valentines Day to Me!
When Parker and I got home from the circus, we walked in the door and this is what I see. Steven managed to surprise me on Valentine's Day all the way from California. He worked it out with my mom, before he left to get me a gift and surprise me with it. What a sweet man that I have as my husband! I miss him so much and can't wait for him to come home!
BELLO IS BACK!
Yesterday, Parker and I went to the Big Apple Circus at Stone Mountain Park to celebrate Valentines Day together. He loved it, especially the "horsies and big mitzie's (my Mom's poodle) and we both had a great time spending the day together.

"ISS SOEEEINGG!!!"
On Friday afternoon, the much anticipated snow arrived!! They had it forecast it almost a week ahead of time, and of course us Georgian's never think we will get THIS much snow! It rolled in on Friday about 1:30 (I know the time because I was walking to my car as it hit to go take some clothes to our local Kidsignments sale). Once it started, it did not let up for HOURS! By the time my mom and I finished setting up all our sales stuff, I got a phone call from the office to go home, we were closing for the rest of the day!! So, I headed immediately to go get Parker and spend the rest of the day at home. By the time I pulled up in front of our house, this is what we saw! It was only about an hour from the time it all started. Again, this does not happen often in Georgia!

Parker had gotten up from his nap early, so when we first got home, he was very grumpy and wanted nothing to do with the snow. But after about 45 minutes, he kept walking to the back door saying, "Mama, I want outside, in soeeee".

So, we bundled up and went outside to play! This is how much snow accumulated from the time we got home, to the time we walked outside (about an hour). I though Parker might be a little hesitant about the cold snow, boy was I mistaken! He took off running immediately!

He decided to be a little sneaky here. He was far enough away from me that he turned and bolted through the woods and towards the creek. Let me tell you how fun it was chasing him UNDER that tree thats fallen over.

Parker and Dixie had a blast in the snow, she would chase him, he would throw snow or her ball to her and they were hot on each others heals the entire time. After about an hour of playtime (and the loss of a glove), it was time to come in and warm up. Parker had a conniption fit when I started to take off his wet clothes because he realized how cold he really was and was not a happy camper about it.

Saturday morning, I looked out my bedroom window and this is what I saw. The snow had stopped falling and it was absolutely beautiful! I took this picture to send to Steven. It was really hard for him being so far away the first time Parker was really old enough to enjoy getting out and playing in the snow, and it was hard for me knowing how sad he was that he was missing out.

Before I let Dixie or Parker outside, I carefully trekked down to the street to take some pictures of our lovely home before they messed up the prettiness with footprints everywhere. I love the way it looks when there is snow on the ground.

Then I bundled little man up and we went out in the snow for round two! Look how DEEP the snow is! In some places it came up to his knees!!!

Pulling his snow wagon

Mommy built Parker a snowman, per Daddy's orders. The whole time I was building it, he was no where close to me, but as soon as I got it finished, he came over to check it out. Right here he was saying "hey soeeeman"

Giving the snowman a hug...

and a kiss....oooh well, and he ate his carrot nose!!

Pulled his nose right out of his head and started chowing down on it.

Then I made him a Mickey Mouse iceball, that he sucked on for at least 30 minutes, saying "yummm momma" the whole time.

After two hours of fun in the snow, it was warm up time! We really enjoyed the snow, and hope more can come to visit when Daddy gets home!
