Jumpy Place

This past weekend, Mya stayed with us bc Jess and John went away for their wedding anniversary...sooo, on Saturday we took Mya to the Jumpy Place to play, and she loved it, and Parker loved watching her play :) The last picture is of Steven, Parker and Dixie after Mya left, boy we arent used to keeping up with a 2 year old! Better get into practice before Parker gets that age!! We had such a great weekend :

Sitting Up at 5 1/2 months

Parker started sitting up on Wednesday night!!! After I changed his diaper, I sat him up on the changing table, and he didnt fall over. Its like he just decided it was time. Then BAM he sat up and did not even begin to fall over! And if he does get off balanced, he reached his hand out, and catches himself! So of course, Im super proud of him, bc he is only 5 1/2 months old and he is such a big boy, so Ive taken about a thousand pics of him sitting up.

My 25th Birthday Weekend!!

Well, last weekend was my 25th Birthday Weekend!! It was literally JAM packed with fun things that we did :) Starting on Friday night, we (me, steven, parker, mya, jess and john) went and met Dad and Debbie up at Stars and Strikes and had dinner at the Coaches Corner. Then we went and played some games, and I actually won Parker a little Batman toy out of the grabby machine!!


Then Sunday morning, Steven and Parker got me up with a present from Parker. He got me a picture frame/handprint kit. So we made a clay mold of Parker's hand and foot prints, then on the other side you put a picture in it! It was sooo sweet!!!

We then went and picked up KFC and went to Fort Yargo for a picnic...the food was great, and we all had such a good time :) I couldnt have asked for anything more!! Jess, John and Mya gave me a purse with some lotions and a massager and a new pair of sunglasses in it :) woohoo!! And Mom, Randy and Steven gave me a GLIDER WITH AN OTTOMAN to go in Parker's room!!! How awsome!!!!

Then for dinner, Steven and I went to eat at Bonefish Grill!!! What a WONDERFUL birthday!!

Gwinnett County Fair 2008

We had a great time at the fair! We met up with Jess, John, Mya, Amanda, Chris, and Olivia (9mths) and just kinda walked around and let the kids look at the lights and the animals...Parker was fascinated by all of the lights that he even went 5 hours between bottles!! (Those of you who know him know how big of a deal this is!! haha) I cant wait to take him back next year and put him on some rides!




He was so sleepy, that he took about a 30 min nap :)

Curly Hair???

Ok, so my baby has......curly hair??? LOL!!! When he gets out of the bath, if I don't brush his hair immediately, it gets all curly (well the little strip at the top where he does have hair haha)!!!!!!! I'm not really sure who he takes that after, but it is pretty dang cute if you ask me :)

WATER WATER!!

Parker has become the ole pro at drinking out of our glasses!! The other day I was mixing up his baby food in a small cup and he leaned over and put his mouth on it to drink, when it didnt come out he started crying! It was so sad I went and made him his own little glass of water haha!!

New Tastes

Parker has learned a few new tricks lately! He loves his teething feeder. I put apple cubes in there and he just chews and chews on them and wont let it go! The other day Steven was drinking a glass of apple juice with Parker sitting on his lap. Steven went to take a sip and Parkers hands went around the glass and his mouth right on the side! So Steven let him "try" some, and by gosh he sure did drink it like a pro without spilling a drop! Now everytime we take a sip of something (water now) his arms go out towards it and he opens his mouth lol!! So, we decided to break out the sippy cup. This one is one with a straw so I was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to do it, boy was I wrong! HE LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!! And drinks out of it like a pro as well!
