This morning Parker was in his swing just smiling away at the purple toy that hangs from the top, and as I was watching him, he reached up and batted at it a few times then GRABBED ahold of it!!! He held it for a few minutes and I ran and grabbed my camera. Then he let go and grabbed it again, then he did it AGAIN!!! So I know he was doing it on purpose! All the time he was smiling at the toy!!

Steven and I were standing in the kitchen while Steven was making Parkers bottle, and he was being a little fussy, so I said, "I wonder if he can sit up in his highchair yet or if hes still too little"....WELL he's definately not too little :( he fits in there!!! We only left him there for about a minutes until his bottle was ready, but he calmed down and just looked all around!

Lunch with Keely and Finley

Today me, Parker, Jessie and Mya met Keely and Finley up at Locos for lunch. We had such a good time and I was so glad to get to see Finley again!!

Dinner with Pops

Last night we went to dinner at Beef O'Brady's. We had a good time and Dad really seemed to enjoy spending time with us and the kids :).

So lately Parker has been smiling away at things! He just looks so happy when he smiles that big!

Yesterday I was putting lotion ion Parkers head to try to keep him from getting cradle cap and when I brushed his hair it was sticking straight up, so I spiked it into a mohawk just to take some pictures :)

First time away from Mommy AND Daddy!

Today was Parkers first time being away from both MOMMY AND DADDY! Daddy was at work and Mommy went to the grocery store as a trial run for going back to work on Monday. He stayed with Aunt Jessie and his cuzzzz Mya and Jessie said he was wonderful :) She took some pictures of their time, and while he was sleeping Mya put some toy lizards on his head.

Parkers first Trip to the Park

Yesterday Parker and I went to meet Jess, John and Mya at the park at Fory Yargo. We didnt stay long bc Mya had to go to the emergency room bc she had a cornial abrasion :(!! sooo sad! He just looked so cute I thought Id share some pics. And when we got home he slept on the couch for over an hour!!

HE DID!!! Steven decided it was time to try it again, so we gave him a bottle at 10:30 and put him in his bed at 11:30...at 3:30 I woke up thinking he had suffocated or something bc he NEVER goes that long without a bottle! So I snuck in to check on him and he was passsed out, sleeping sooo good! So I went back to bed and heard him whining a little tiny bit at 4, got a bottle ready and went and fed him. Put him back in HIS bed at 4:30 and he slept until 6!!! OMG I CANT BELIEVE IT! I didnt get a picture, but I wish I had!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2008!!

What a fun weekend! Friday Parker got to take his first trip to IKEA! Then Friday night we went out to dinner with Jessie, John, Mya, Chris, Amanda, and Olivia! We had a great time!! And all three of the kiddos were so good! Then Saturday Katie and Emma Kate came over for a visit and then my piano had to be moved from my Moms old house to my house and of course it thunderstormed on and off for a few hours. It got moved (thanks to the help of randy, john, and dustin!) but it ended up in my garage for now until the ground isnt so mushy from all the rain! Then Sunday we had a cookout at my house with Mom, Randy and the Farrows :). It was a lot of fun! Mya played outside in her pool and had a blast! I think her favorite part though was eating a whole bowl of salsa pretty much by herself (hmm I think she takes that after her mama hahaha). Then after everyone left we went over to see Tara and Jacob's new house, and it was beautiful! Today, on actual Memorial Day, I didnt even go outside even though I heard it was beautiful! Actually I didnt get out of my PJS hahaha! Me and Steven and Parker spent the day together basically doing NOTHING!

Parker is doing SO GOOD! He definaltely knows the difference between night and day now, and only is up to eat during the night...Well, UP might be a stretch! He eats with his eyes closed and I have to jiggle him all around in order to get him to eat sometimes lol. And he is up for hours and hours at a time now :)...the other day, he barely slept at all during the day :( I cant believe hes growing up so fast! This week he started SMILING! And now I know hes smiling at me bc he will do it OVER AND OVER again and he even coos at me every now and again! He also has started following me and steven with his eyes, (yeah he follows objects too but I like to think he just wants to know what were doing!). His eyes are still that dark beautiful newborn blue, which Im pretty sure they will change, but Im enjoying it while it lasts! One other thing Parker has started doing this week is FIGHTING SLEEP! Only during the day, but when he gets sleepy he gets a LITTLE BIT GRUMPY! haha, but its not hard at all to calm him down!
