Then scouped him up and put him in the bed with us for a few minutes so we could all wake up.
We then took him downstairs so we could give him his present from us, his new watertable, which he LOVED!
Then we fed him breakfast and got him all dressed in his ITS MY FIRST BIRTHDAY stuff and got ready to go! You can see he was walking VERY well by the time he turned one :)!!!
While Mommy loaded up the car, Daddy took Parker for a spin on his four-wheeler.
This is why we got him up and didnt let him sleep in :) He took a VERY good nap on the way to the aquarium.
I should have known that it was going to be crazy since it was Spring Break for most of GA! This is the line to get inside!!

So it took us a little while to get in the door even though we purchased our tickets in advanced. But, Parker's face when he saw those first fish was absolutely amazing. I never thought it could make you want to cry just to see another person that happy and excited. My heart was so full of excitement and love for him. I'm telling ya, being a mom is the best thing in the ENTIRE world!! When we walked in he looked from Steven to me to the fish and then Steven, me, fish then started pointing to them and said FSSSSHHH (Steven and Parker feed Steven's fish together every night).
Parker and Mommy with Deepo.
He kept trying to grab onto the jellyfish (lets hope he doesn't try that at the beach this summer lol!)
Steven was having as much fun as Parker was!
This is the first big reef tank that we came to. As you can see Parker wanted to TOUCH the fish! He loved it and the fish were beautiful.
After we ate our $31 lunch (2 sandwiches, a salad, a muffin and some freakin yogurt!) we went for the BIG exhibit.
Eating lunch

This is us in the "tunnel".
He saw a big stingray swim right over his head and he WANTED it! He started kicking and reaching as high as he could.
How about this GIGANTIC grouper that was sitting right by the edge! That thing could have swollowed Parker whole!
After you come out of the tunnel you go into a big theatre room where the aquarium front is the size of a football field! We walked down to the front and sat right down right by where the fish swim in front of you and we watched as the fish, stingrays, sharks, and huge whale sharks swam by. There was a little girl that was about a week older than Parker that was sitting next to us and of course they were more interested in each other at that point, which is why you see Parker walking AWAY from the fish! lol
Next we went to the Amazon exhibit where they had all the Cichilds, etc (those are Steven's favorite).
Then Steven and Parker went through a tunnel and I took a picture of them on the other side of the glass. Apparently the yogurt Parker had with his lunch didn't agree with him very well, because you can see that some of it ended back up on Steven's sleeve and he didn't know it. That is, until the guy in this second picture noticed it (you can see him starting at Steven's sleeve lol) and told him about it.
This is after Mommy and Parker watched the Beluga Whales for a little bit. He was so exhausted by this point (we had been there 2.5 hours) that I couldn't even get him to crack a smile when we were looking at them!

He was so sleepy, he just sat in his stroller through the last exhibit until he saw Deepo and he didn't just smile for him, he actually started laughing :)
Here is my little ONE YEAR OLD on the way home from the aquarium. We had only been in the car about 2 minutes or so, and he fell asleep about 3 minutes after that and SNORED the rest of the way home.
