This weekend we, (okay I) decided it was time to fix up Parker's playroom. I was very tired of all his stuff just sitting on the floor around the room, and not having enough room for everything that way. So, Friday night we started painting as soon as Parker went to bed, about 9pm and got finished with the painting at 2:30am (crazy I know, but we didn't want to paint all day on Saturday). Then Saturday, Steven spent the day working on building the shelves for the room. Sunday morning we went to IKEA and bought the finishing touches for the room, came home, Steven finished the shelves and we put everything together after Parker went to bed. We were FINALLY done at 10:30pm on Sunday night, whewwww! So yesterday when we got finished with dinner, we took Parker to the playroom for the "unveiling"!! And HE LOVESSSS IT!

I think the Pelican might be his favorite thing haha, he loves to put stuff in there, close the pelican's mouth, and then open it right back up and take it out again!

New table and chairs! Parker spent 30 mintues sitting here coloring!!! I will be framing his first beautiful picture and putting it up in the playroom!

Dixie thinks this area is for her, she has spent the last two nights curled up sleeping on the rug.

I love the book nook, I want to read there, it's so cozy! You people are amazing, I wish I had half the energy you do- transforming rooms in weekends! I can't even get my own room cleaned in a weekend- ha! Looks great and we are going to set up a play date soon! I'll email you.
