Memorial Day Weekend 2008!!

What a fun weekend! Friday Parker got to take his first trip to IKEA! Then Friday night we went out to dinner with Jessie, John, Mya, Chris, Amanda, and Olivia! We had a great time!! And all three of the kiddos were so good! Then Saturday Katie and Emma Kate came over for a visit and then my piano had to be moved from my Moms old house to my house and of course it thunderstormed on and off for a few hours. It got moved (thanks to the help of randy, john, and dustin!) but it ended up in my garage for now until the ground isnt so mushy from all the rain! Then Sunday we had a cookout at my house with Mom, Randy and the Farrows :). It was a lot of fun! Mya played outside in her pool and had a blast! I think her favorite part though was eating a whole bowl of salsa pretty much by herself (hmm I think she takes that after her mama hahaha). Then after everyone left we went over to see Tara and Jacob's new house, and it was beautiful! Today, on actual Memorial Day, I didnt even go outside even though I heard it was beautiful! Actually I didnt get out of my PJS hahaha! Me and Steven and Parker spent the day together basically doing NOTHING!

Parker is doing SO GOOD! He definaltely knows the difference between night and day now, and only is up to eat during the night...Well, UP might be a stretch! He eats with his eyes closed and I have to jiggle him all around in order to get him to eat sometimes lol. And he is up for hours and hours at a time now :)...the other day, he barely slept at all during the day :( I cant believe hes growing up so fast! This week he started SMILING! And now I know hes smiling at me bc he will do it OVER AND OVER again and he even coos at me every now and again! He also has started following me and steven with his eyes, (yeah he follows objects too but I like to think he just wants to know what were doing!). His eyes are still that dark beautiful newborn blue, which Im pretty sure they will change, but Im enjoying it while it lasts! One other thing Parker has started doing this week is FIGHTING SLEEP! Only during the day, but when he gets sleepy he gets a LITTLE BIT GRUMPY! haha, but its not hard at all to calm him down!
